Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott recently appeared on Dude Perfect — a YouTube channel with more than 58 million subscribers — and proved that he would be an excellent addition to the current Los Angeles Lakers roster.
Precott, 29, participated in a three-point contest with the Dude Perfect members and won the whole thing.
The Cowboys QB swished countless basketballs and hit the hanging target with a few football bonus shots.
Prescott is coming off a thumb injury that seems to be completely healed, at least when judging by his jumper.
The clip aired during Amazon Prime Video‘s Thursday Night Footballgame between the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.
Dak Prescott could play for the Lakers
Lakers have started this NBA season shooting historically bad from beyond the arc.
After stringing together a couple of wins, however, it seems that the only issue is lack of perimeter shooting for the Lakers.
In fact, the Purple & Gold‘s hero this season has so far been Matt Ryan, who is only on the roster because of his three-point shooting.
Ryan proved his worth by hitting a buzzer-beating triple to force overtime in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Prescott’s shooting with the Dude Perfect cast shows that a professional athlete such as himself would likely thrive in the NBA, albeit in a limited role like the one Ryan plays.
